[Clinical session research presentation] The purpose of this project was to design and implement an online post-conference for a clinical experience in a Bachelors of Nursing Degree (BSN) program. The aim of the project was to encourage nurse educators to utilize technology by designing and implementing online post-conferencing. A systematic literature review has been completed. Review of articles and research studies published between 2000 and 2005 were utilized to identify the influence technology has on education in nursing.  Additionally, relevant articles were sought to gain an understanding of education, online technology, and nursing. One research article specifically addressed online post-conferencing. The design and implementation of this presentation found that online post-conferencing is 'cutting-edge' in teaching strategies available to educators today. Further research is needed to examine online post-conferencing in the realm of nursing education and the impact it has on the learner.
