[Clinical session research presentation] This presentation will focus on the impact of a community medical center's partnership with the School of Nursing in a joint effort to use technology to transform practice at the point of care. The nature of the work necessary to prepare the leaders and staff for a major change was enhanced by the partnership with the school of nursing. The formation of a partnership infrastructure across the hospital and school brought the teams together to plan, implement and evaluate every phase of the process. The faculty's expertise in teaching learning strategies and participation in the educational support for scope of practice work, use of evidence-based guidelines, establishing partnership across disciplines enhanced the learning curve and resulted in strong partnerships never before experienced by faculty and service as well as between students and staff. The structure, process and outcomes will be reviewed and brought to life by the feedback from leaders, staff, patients and students via a video.
