The purpose of this poster will be to provide an overview of activities completed by the mentee (Carolyn Spence Cagle) during her 2004 Chiron Fellowship. These activities, involving a variety of pedagogical, service, and research projects, have strengthened the mentee's illustation of a teacher-scholar model. This model, based on the mission statement of the mentee's employing institution, supports faculty activities aimed at improving faculty responsiveness to knowledge generation for community improvement.
