The purpose of this research was to study the level and analyze relationships between creative climate, head nurse - staff nurse exchange (LMX) and creative leadership of head nurses, governmental hospitals located in Bangkok Metropolis. Study samples consisted of 231 head nurses selected by stratified random sampling. Research instruments were Working Factors, Creative Climate, LMX and Creative Leadership Questionnaires test content validity and reliability with the Alpha of .95, .93, and .95 respectively. Pearson's product moment correlation coefficient were use to analyze study data. The Major findings were as follow: 1. There were a high level of head nurse - staff nurse exchange (mean = 3.92), creative climate (mean = 3.80), and creative leadership of head nurses. (mean = 4.31) 2. Academic training was not related to creative leadership whereas work experience was negatively and significantly related to creative leadership of head nurses at the .05 level. (r = -.115) 3.Creative climate and head nurse - staff nurse exchange were positive and significant related to creative leadership of head nurses at the .05 level. (r = .387 and .503 respectively) Findings indicated that developing good creative climate and increasing good quality of head nurse - staff nurse exchange can improve creative leadership of head nurses, governmental hospitals in Bangkok Metropolis.
