[Scientific session research presentation] Faculty recommend graduates consider employment at a Magnet designated facility, yet few have inside knowledge as to what a Magnet facility means. And fewer yet, know how to assist the organizations where they conduct clinical attain Magnet status. This session provides specific actions to assist faculty to identify strategies which support the cultural transformation to become a Magnet organization. Explanation of the Magnet forces and the role which faculty and their students can play in the process will be provided.
