Nurse leaders are facing considerable challenges in today's health care environment, and recruitment and retention of qualified nurses is at the top of many "to do" lists. In this two-part session, Dr. Beth Brooks, RN, will first explore marketing fundamentals essential to any recruitment and retention campaign, including critical marketing terms, finding candidates and uncovering an organization's image in the marketplace. Part two of the session will present specific recruitment strategies, helpful hints, the role of public relations and ideas for the future.
