The EBP program will be evaluated using both qualitative and quantitative analysis measures. At the beginning of the education session, all participants completed a validated EBP knowledge survey on their attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors regarding EBP. This two-part anonymous survey adapted from Melnyk & Fineout-Overholt includes 18 5-point Likert scale questions regarding the use of EBP, 16 5-point Likert scale questions regarding the participants? attitudes towards EBP, and general demographic information. Participants will be asked to complete this survey again at six months after completion of the education session. These results will then be used to target additional support and education. Other data will include the number of EBP and library training sessions, number of CPGs completed, implemented and in the process of being evaluated within six months of the EBP education session, and the number of individuals, including bedside clinicians, who have been mentored on EBP concepts and activities. Qualitative data will also be collected from each specialty area and from the EBP leadership and expert teams using open-ended survey questions, focus groups, and interviews to tell the ?story? of how each group developed their evidence-based guidelines. The phase two projects will be measured using data appropriate to the initiative, and the quality manager will work closely with the team to ensure patient outcomes are measured. This presentation will describe the measurement and on-going quality management of all EBP projects and also allow the learner time to question the team on the project.
