21st INRC [Research Symposium Presentation] Purpose: the purpose of this session is to review the components of a professional practice framework that is being used to guide transformation of practice and education in multiple clinical and academic settings across the continent. Methods: Each component of the framework will be defined and correlated to the essence of nursing practiceáboth within a clinical and academic perspectiveá Results: The impact on changes in the curriculum both on faculty educational approaches and students perceptions as well as the impact of student learning in the clinical rotations and ápractice infrastructures will be reviewed.áThe impact of testing and clinical outcomes will be compared to nationalástatistics, credentialing, JCAHO, NQF andámagnet expectations.á Conclusion: The importance of Framework Driven Change and Project Driven Change will be focused on in order to achieve sustainable educational, practice and clinical outcomes
