[2nd International Nursing Research Conference for the World Academy of Nursing Science - Presentation] Purposeü: The purpose of our study was to clarify the Ethical Nursing Practices in the theater nurses. Method: Participants were 57? theater nurse work at 4 hospitals. We investigated the nurse?s moral sensitivity by Moral Sensitivity Test (MST) and the nursing practices by ANA Code for Nurses (1976). The nurse's practice (NP) questionnaire was comprised of 6 actors the keeping patient's right and privacy, the medical/nursing care information to patients, the keeping safety in operating room and the collaborating with health care members. The nurse's moral sensitivity (NMS) questionnaire was comprised of 11 factors, the perception patient's  needs, responsibility, security, conflict, the keeping the rule and et al.
Data Analysis: The average score and standard deviation were calculated by Whilcoxn's U- test. The Spearman's Correlation coefficient was used between NP and NMS items. Results: The characteristics of NP and NMS in theater nurses were as follows. The keeping patients right and privacy and the keeping safety in operating room were high score than other items. However, the medical and nursing care information to patients and the collaborating with health care members were low. It was significant correlation coefficient between the nursing value/principle and the medical and nursing care information to patients (r>0.4,p<0.05). Conclusion: It is important that ENP in the theater nurses will be including  the medical/nursing care information to patients and the collaborating with health care members.
