Nursing Educational reform started in 1993. Since 1995, a 4-year educational program for preparing nurses with bachelor's degree was started jointly with UCLA. Its goal is to prepare nurse-educators, nurse-managers and clinical nurses in Armenia. During the design of concrete modules, we took into account real statistical data on morbidity, mortality, and etiologies, Demographic data, diseases particular to different age groups, and public education problems that bear upon healthy lifestyle. Designing these programs and their insertion allow the education and preparation of nurses in Armenia to rise to higher levels.
