Normal psychology was noted in recent years. Most mental health studies were used the mental illness related scale as the index of mental health. Keyes(2005) indicates that the mental illness and the mental health are different constructs. Further, the women mental health has been ignored for a long time. The purpose of this study was to develop and validate the mental health scale for women in Taiwan. Based on our previous study, the items were developed by three expert?s round table discussion. First stage, one focus group was used to refine these items including wording and content in this study. There were four domains (including self, interpersonal relationship, family and society) and 112 items in total. Second stage, a total of 95 women age ranging from 18~60 years old were measured by this scale. The internal consistency and construct validity will be reported.
