The purposes of this research were to examine achievement motive, work attitude, creative climate and innovative behavior of professional nurses; to analyze relationships; and predict innovative behavior of professional nurses, community hospitals. The subjects consisted of 388 professional nurses selected by multi-stage sampling. Research instruments were Achievement Motive, Work Attitude, Creative Climate and Innovative Behavior Questionnaires. All instruments were tested for content validity and internal reliability with Alpha .79, .87, .95 and .96, respectively. Frequency, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression were used to analyze data. Major findings were as follows : 1. There were the high level of work attitude, achievement motive and creative climate (Mean= 4.28, 4.08 and 3.64 respectively) and a middle level of innovative behavior of professional nurses (Mean= 3.38) 2.
