Methods: Qualitative using a descriptive phenomenological approach. The sample consists of the nurses who work at least 5 years in Gulhane Military Medical Academy, and the population was 11 staff nurses who accepted to be consented to this study. Conclusion: Leadership has different meanings in various participants. They define leadership as influence, that is, the art or process of influencing people so that they will strive willingly and enthusiastically toward the achievement of group goals.
