[Evidence-based Presentation] A strategic approach to building infrastructure is needed to enable evidence-based nursing practice (EBP). This session will suggest strategies to enhance EBP in organizations using what is known about adoption of innovations from theory (Conceptual Model for Considering the Determinants of Diffusion, Dissemination, and Implementation of Innovations in Health Service Delivery and Organization). Examples of successful clinical approaches to infuse EBP will be incorporated into the conceptual framework. Nursing leadership informed by theory and empiric evidence, can have higher confidence that the structures and process that they implement to infuse EBP within their organization will be adopted.
