[Research Presentation] Purpose: The evaluation of Quality of Life (QoL) of oncologic patient is an important pointer of the patient reply to the cancer and the treatment in the own patient perspective. This study is an Integrative Literature Review, which is considered a strategy to identify the existent evidences to base one health practical on the different specialties and is presented as one of the instruments of the Evidence Based Practice (1-2, Methods: Integrative Literature Review, the articles were selected using the databases LILACS, CINAHL, and MEDLINE, between 1997 and 2007. Four thematic categories were established: influence from physical activity, influence from follow-up exams, psychosocial evaluation, and aspects inherent to the patient, and the sample comprised 15 articles. Results: Result analysis revealed that cancer diagnosis and treatment affects several domains of QoL of patient and that factors such the presence of psychosocial support and social network, well-nutritional condition, the practice of exercises and the increase of physical fitness benefit a better QoL. Conclusion: In the gaps of knowledge, we discovered absence national scientific production, low production by nurses, and predominance of descriptive studies, which have a weak evidence level. We suggest the action of nurses of intervention researches of psychosocial support and of exercises programs that make it possible to improve the QoL of patients with colorectal cancer.
