Objective; Initiating and evaluating a pain assessment tool for healthy newborns Design: Based on a recently developed pain tool for neonates hospitalized in NICU, a version was developed for the healthy newborn population. A control group will be utilized pre and post circumcision procedures. Selected demographic information will be recorded. Population, Sample, Setting, years: All healthy newborns (with parental consent forms)in at least 3 Level 1 nurseries in the southeastern part of the United States. Variables: pain scores, selected demographic data Methods: one month data collection, focus groups, inservices. Findings: TBA Conclusions: TBA.
