Author(s):
Woodruff, Lee
Author Details:
Lee Woodruff, BA, Rye, New York, USA, email: leewoodruff@verizon.net
Abstract:
Abstract presented at AORN's 58th Annual Congress: You know Lee Woodruff from the immediate success of her first book, "In an Instant, " co-authored with husband and ABC anchor, Bob Woodruff. Now Lee, a lifelong writer with a remarkable straight-from-the-gut style, tells it like it is in this General Session appropriately titled, "Perfectly Imperfect: A Life in Progress." She will carry the audience with her as she reflects on navigating life's rougher pavement, imperfections, trials and triumphs. You will hear about the family member/caregiver side of the equation about the journey from injury to recovery and healing. Special attention will be paid in this session to the healthcare professionals and nurses in particular. Corporate support for this session generously provided by Molnlycke.
