Abstract:
Abstract presented at AORN's 58th Annual Congress: Hear what over 8 million OR records from over 400 facilities have to say about trends in the OR over the past several years. Ever wonder if there is a benchmark for start time, and does it vary from coast to coast or academic to community setting? How about the real statistical impact of preadmission screening on those start times? During this session, we will share in-depth research on these and other relevant statistics and trends that are happening NOW in ORs across the country and how they are impacting the complexity that OR Managers must manage on a daily basis.
