Abstract:
Abstract presented at AORN's 58th Annual Congress: During this interactive session, you have the opportunity to hear first hand stories of what can happen to patients when there is a break in communication. Data from an online survey of medical error victims will be shared to help understand where potential issue can occur. The speakers will provide information on classes provided to future patients and their family member on how to navigate the hospital experience. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.
