[NLN Education Summit Paper Presentation] The use of simulation in nursing education is increasingly popular. This session presents an evidence-based approach to selection of scenarios. Scenario topics are put in the context of the curriculum and the degree of complexity of each case. A detailed evidence-based approach to conducting a debriefing review is showcased using individual and group approaches. The use of simulations as an end-of-program assessment is outlined.
