[NLN Education Summit Poster Presentation] The study: 1) describes culturally sensitive appropriate intervention; 2) develops effective strategies to assist the Hispanic woman in her education and decision to obtain mammography and participate in early breast cancer screening; and 3) educates nurse faculty about the importance of cultural awareness thereby educating students who in turn will educate the patient and community.
