[NLN Education Summit Paper Presentation] The Geriatric Education Program in Home Care helps meet the increasing needs of a population aging in place. It created and delivered a 13-week course to prepare nurses successfully complete the American Nurses Credentialing Center's gerontological nurse certification exam, develop two home care-specific instruments to assess geriatric attitudes and knowledge, and build a home care geriatric resource nurse model.
