[NLN Education Summit Poster Presentation] This presentation describes the process of establishing content validity and internal reliability consistency of two self-assessment instruments (ISA and PSA). These permit administrators and programs within collegiate educational institutions to assess needed changes to improve Hispanic students' persistence in nursing and health related programs. Such assessments permit benchmarking and guide quality improvement activities.
