[NLN Education Summit Paper Presentation] In this high tech age of human patient simulators and computerized client records, many nursing programs are clinging to paper and pencil testing often because of a lack of understanding of how easy and cost-effective computerized technologies can be. This interactive workshop is a factual and fun method of experiencing two computer-based learning strategies: the Teach and Track web-based testing program and the Turning Point audience response system. Participants should bring laptops with wireless capability for active participation.

This paper addresses:
Competency 3: Use Assessment and Evaluation Strategies
Hallmark of Excellence in Nursing Education: Teaching/Learning/Evaluation Strategies
