[NLN Education Summit Paper Presentation] A school received a three-year federal grant with a strict timeline to write a program, gain state approval, hire faculty, admit students, graduate students, and acquire accreditation. The first students admitted displayed many characteristics of at-risk students. This presentation shares the evidence-based strategies that resulted in the programÆs 93 percent retention rate and 97 percent NCLEX pass rate.
