[NLN Education Summit Paper Presentation] One baccalaureate nursing program and a regional health care system collaborated to develop a systematic curriculum plan that promotes achievement of safety-quality competencies using the framework of the Massachusetts Nursing of the Future Competencies for Education and Practice (2007). This presentation describes the joint endeavors of nursing education and practice partners to achieve competency development in generic undergraduate students. Small group exercises are included.
