[NLN Education Summit Paper Presentation] For this learning activity, nursing students were assigned to an elder for an interview on reminiscing. Follow-up interviews with student and elder participants revealed that this project was a win-win. Students gained an understanding of the impact of previous life events while elders appreciated this reminiscence opportunity. Grounded within the lifespan development framework, this assignment was an effective teaching strategy.
