[NLN Education Summit Poster Presentation] A protocol using simulation for evaluating the skill of therapeutic communication that could be used by clinical instructors as well as students was developed. Because written evaluations from students and instructors were positive, faculty decided to make this therapeutic communication simulation validation a requirement for the Therapeutic Communication course
