[NLN Education Summit Paper Presentation] This session describes a study of certified nurse educators to determine their perceptions of the impact certification has had on their professional roles. Four major themes were identified: distinction, individual gratification, mentoring, and changes. The study'Æs overall conclusion: the achievement of certification has had a beneficial impact.
