[NLN Education Summit Symposium Presentation] Preparing diverse nursing students to provide quality health care in our increasingly multicultural and global society requires a comprehensive approach that emphasizes cultural competence education throughout the curriculum. This presentation reveals a systematic seven-step approach that helps take educators from starting point toward optimal cultural competence ¬ Jeffreys, 2009 and introduces easy hands-on innovative strategies for immediate implementation.
