[NLN Education Summit Poster Presentation] Enhancing the student's ability to participate in the virtual classroom hinges on accurate assessment of technology skills upon program entry. Students who are not computer literate become overwhelmed and their focus on computer navigation overrides mastery of the course learning outcomes. This presentation discusses a meta-analysis of nursing and education literature related to computer and information literacy.
