[NLN Education Summit Paper Presentation] A culturally sensitive pedagogy incorporates student experiences, creating a meaningful learning environment to empower students to be active learners. This interactive research presentation demonstrates how the HRSA- funded Crossing Borders project employed a culturally sensitive pedagogy in a health assessment course. Participants discuss the principles of designing a culturally responsive pedagogy and identify two action items for implementation in their own curriculum.
