[NLN Education Summit Paper Presentation] Although our world is increasingly global, our understanding of culture and how we teach that understanding to students is limited. Using measurement tools for cultural awareness and related attributes may help nurse educators gain understanding of the cognitive and affective considerations of cultural competence in students. This presentation reports findings of a structured program to increase nursing student responsiveness to cultural diversity.
