[NLN Education Summit Paper Presentation] What are the benefits of, and potential strategies supporting, the employment of fully enfranchised (possibly tenure-track) faculty-at-a-distance? This presentation discusses the creation of the FD Model, which is based on original research, born from the need to develop a creative solution to meet the dire need for nursing faculty. The components of the model and a discussion of how this model can be formatted to meet the diverse needs of individual institutions are discussed.
