[NLN Education Summit Paper Presentation] The purpose of this presentation is to start a different type of conversation about the meaning of grades with students and teachers. Using a narrative pedagogy approach, the presenters demonstrate how students' perspectives and assumptions about grades were obtained. The importance of grades to students is explored and the participants will be assisted in helping students better understand the evaluation process.
