Podium Presentation: BRIEF DESCRIPTION/ABSTRACT: A panel presentation by Magnet Recognition Program staff and Mentor Appraisers, who evaluate organizations for recognition, the panelists will explain the key concepts inherent in each component of the new Magnet Recognition Program Model, as well as the key elements and changes of the 2008 Magnet Program Application Manual. The relevant Sources of Evidence that reflect the shift in focus from structure and process to outcomes measures will be highlighted. Requirements for new applicants and re-designating organizations will be outlined.
