Abstract:
Purpose, Method, Findings and Discussion:

Presentation of real life implementation of a Nursing Research Council within a freestanding Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility. Learn techniques to manage the challenges of motivating and educating clinical nurses at a variety of educational levels within a nonacademic affiliated environment. Discuss unique steps taken with limited resources and how to embark on the journey of establishing evidence based practice environment. Participants will learn how to differentiate evidence based practices and nursing research, how to motivate and educate staff for participation and how to instill the value of such a culture within the organization.
