The new course is planned to begin in autumn 2011 for the nursing staff in whole hospital district. In addition, the course of Evidence Based Leadership for the nursing leaders was started in autumn 2010. A total of 48 nursing leaders all over the hospital district are studying together for one year. The main idea of the both courses has been the problem in practice (PICO-question) which they try to solve by using different kind of evidence, use the evidence and change the practice. Both EBP-courses are evaluated by the researchers. The Nursing Research Council has organized the monthly Nursing Meetings, where the acute nursing topics are presented by the expert nurses.
