Abstract:
Session presented on Saturday, July 26, 2014: In this session an overview of a program of research in cancer care will be presented. The research program will demonstrate the impact the intervention has had on patient and caregiver outcomes. Critical nursing behaviors that were essential in effecting the outcomes will be described. Clinical and policy changes related to the program of research will be discussed and future areas of research will be recommended.
