Abstract:

The Readiness Estimate & Deployability Index (READI) measures the level of individual deployment readiness among military and civilian nurses to deploy to austere environments during conflicts or natural disasters.  The READI has been tested in the U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force Nurse Corps as well as in Japan and Republic of Korea.
