Abstract:
Two 2015 newly inducted FAANs will present lessons learned from the AAN Leadership Institute, applied to simulation. Topics such as: the importance of relationship, how to move forward and upward, yet reach back and bring others, and how to take advantage of opportunities by reframing your skills. This information will help attendees understand how to be involved and effective leaders in policy making, as state boards and health agencies make decision about simulation replacement hours and simulation based competency assessment.
