Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to explore nurses’ knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs related to social determinants of health. Findings revealed multiple barriers to addressing SDOH in practice. Content related to SDOH must be integrated in nursing education, research and practice to prepare nurses as leaders in improving health disparities.
